As a Christian Organisation we are guided by the Scriptures in our beliefs and practices. That is - what we believe results in a faith that produces loving care, practical service and spiritual concern for our world. We confess the truth of the historic faith of the Gospel contained in the Bible and summarised below.
Ray was brought up in a Christian home and made a commitment to faith in Christ at the age of 17. At the age of 19, he joined All Saints’ Church, Woodford Wells, and worked on the Parochial Church Council for 17 years and as a Churchwarden for 6 years.
More recently he has worked with his wife Ann as co-director of Mulberry House, a Christian Retreat Centre. They have been married for 45 years and have four children and six grandchildren. Until recently, Ray was Chairman and Managing Director of an international business equipment manufacturer in the UK.
Ann trained at The London Hospital and was appointed as a ward sister in the early 1960s. After her marriage to Ray she worked part-time at a London Hospital Annex in Woodford Green, Essex.
Ray and Ann have been worshipping at All Saints' Church, Woodford Wells, for 54 years and in the early days were involved with Bible Study leadership. Ann also led the Young Wives group for many years. Ann has been very active as part of the Pastoral Team at Mulberry House for the last 22 years.
