Prayers for Parliament and the Nation: Friday 15 May 2020

" I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. "

- 1 Timothy 2:1-4

  • Premier League football is due to resume on 19th June, if safety fears from managers and players can be successfully addressed.

  • The Six Nations rugby tournament may be moved from its traditional February and March slot. This would enable it to take place at the same time as the southern hemisphere’s Rugby Championship.

  • Due to staff going on furlough, this will be the last blog post for the next month or so.
