This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. "

- US President Donald Trump has responded to North Korea's missile launches and tests by carrying out a simulated attack in South Korea and used his first speech in the UN to warn Kim Jong-Un that "the US would destroy North Korea" if it was forced to defend itself or its allies.
- More than 270 people have died and at least 44 buildings collapsed following an earthquake in Mexico.
- Following devestation wrought by Hurricane Irma earlier this month, Hurricane Maria has this week caused further damage across the Caribbean.
