Prayerline Volunteers

PRAYERLINE VOLUNTEERS

The Prayerline is a place where faith and compassion meet.

• Are you a person of compassion?

• Do you have a listening ear?

• Do you have a heart for people?

• Are you looking to serve God in a far reaching ministry?

We are looking for men and women to serve on our Prayerline as a Volunteer. Our Prayerline Listeners need to have a heart to listen with people and pray with them in a non-judgmental way.

We are a team of Christians offering emotional and spiritual support, who understand that life has its stresses and challenges and that we all need someone to listen during these times.

The Prayerline offers an opportunity to be heard. We do not offer counselling or an advice service, but pray to God and ask for His help, whatever the need.

Hours of volunteers to be agreed (the Prayerline operates between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday).

Experience in praying for people is preferred. Training will be given to all applicants to ensure they are in line with our best practice. Calls can be taken at your home or in our office in High Ongar, Essex. Ability to attend our quarterly team meetings in person is required. Occasional attendance at our Christian events can be discussed.
