" I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. "

This week, Amnesty International released a report claiming that thousands have been tortured and hanged in a Syrian prison, the Government published a White Paper on the housing crisis, Internet Safety Day was celebrated on Tuesday, Compassion International revealed that it would be withdrawing its aid from India, and the Brexit Bill passed through the House of Commons with the overwhelming support of MPs.
