Prayers for Parliament and the Nation: Friday, 24 February 2017

" I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. "

- 1 Timothy 2:1-4

This week, the Government announced it would review asylum applications from child refugees living in Calais who have family in the UK; Islamic State released a video urging jihadists to kill Christians in Egypt; and the House of Lords debated the Brexit Bill. Next week, elections will be held across Northern Ireland.

Please click here to access our weekly email containing prayers for the above issues, as well as for the Government as they consider amending the law on prostitution and the police dealing with increased incidents of "pop up" brothels.

Why not subscribe to our weekly email praying for parliament and our nation and join with us in holding our nation and its leaders before God in prayer?
