Huawei's next smartphone will not include any Google apps. Due to a US government ban on sales to Huawei, Google could not licence its apps to the Chinese company.
Lib Dem Beatrice Wishart has fought off a strong challenge from the SNP to hold Shetland in a Holyrood by-election. Ms Wishart polled 5,659 votes, ahead of SNP candidate Tom Wills on 3,827, a majority of 1,837.
Strike action has resumed on South Western Railway as part of a long-running dispute over train guards. 800 trains a day will be cancelled following a walkout by the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union.
Millions of people rushed to make last-minute PPI claims as the deadline passed at midnight on 29th August.
