Prayers for Parliament and the Nation: Tuesday, 30 January 2018

" I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. "

- 1 Timothy 2:1-4

  • On Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st January, the EU Withdrawal Bill is being debated in the House of Lords. It will be a very full schedule with 195 speakers registered; so far only 1 of the 26 in the House of Bishops has registered to speak.

Please consider this a matter of urgent prayer for the next two days.
