The blessing of Bible inspired praying
Whether you are a mature prayer warrior or a young Christian just beginning to call on the Lord, scripture provides us with words, patterns, content, and guidance for praying. The Bible motivates our prayer life, showing us God’s priorities, enabling us to draw near to him, praying in line with his will.
Emma will be unpacking some of the ways in which we can use the Bible to stimulate and fuel our praying. The goal of the day is to enjoy fresh encouragement in our communion with the Lord, and a renewed vigour and delight in spending time with Him in prayer.
Having come to know the Lord as Saviour at a young age, Emma has always had a passion for encouraging others in their walk with the Lord. She started teaching the Bible as a Sunday school teacher.
Emma attended a Discipleship Training School and then studied a variety of Biblical modules alongside her husband, Peter, while he was in Bible college.
Emma now supports Peter who is a Pastor, serving the local Church in Essex, particularly in leading women’s and children’s ministries and regularly leads worship.
Emma has been privileged to serve the Lord in India and Africa, bringing Bible teaching to women and children. Peter and Emma have 2 married daughters and 5 grandchildren.
The cost of £26 includes a 2 course lunch and tea/cofee and biscuits from 10.00am
