MPs have voted by 330 votes to 231 to approve Boris Johnson’s Brexit Bill. It has now passed to the House of Lords where peers will debate it next week.
HM Inspectorate of Police wants restrictions introduced on pay-as-you-go phones. This would prevent “county lines” drug dealers using them to arrange drug deals.
Figures from market research company Kantar show that sales of Christmas puddings fell by 16% in the UK in the run-up to Christmas. There was also a fall of 1% in sales of turkey.
