Attempts to stop saying grace before meals at Worcester College, Oxford have been overturned. Students were angered when the interim provost, Prof Kate Tunstall, attempted to abolish the tradition.
UK inflation rose at its lowest rate for almost three years in October, due to an energy cap on the price of electricity, gas and other fuels. The Office for National Statistics said consumer prices rose 1.5% in October, against 1.7% in September.
